Finally, we can get back to concrete work… we really missed the sweat-inducing labor with dirt and heavy materials. Fortunately, we were able to make up for lost time at our upper secondary station. Our board was very enthusiastic and got to work while the cameraman and the other club members enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. Like all the other stations, the new large-field telescope and its heavy mount must have a solid, low-vibration support column. For us, low vibration means stability of less than one arc second, or 1/3600th of a degree. Otherwise, sky images would be blurred if you even stepped firmly near the column. A large sewage pipe filled with sand or (even better) concrete is used for this purpose. As soon as it has hardened, we will screw on the 65 kg mount and install the telescope.
