Together with the Oberberg Education Office, we participated in this year’s nationwide Reading Day. The place was packed again! Our colleague Thomas Eversberg read a story from the “Star Diaries” by Polish science fiction author Stanislaw Lem, which deals with artificially created intelligence and the philosophical questions that arise from it. This was followed by a question and answer session on the topics of planets, stars, and the Big Bang. Afterwards, we gave a tour of our complex. This included a look through our telescopes at Saturn and live images of the Andromeda Galaxy.
