For several years now, the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce has held an annual Trainee Social Day. On these days, trainees from participating companies get involved in a “good cause”. The commitment is very diverse, depending on the needs and characteristics of the companies and institutions they work for. GC-heat is also a regular participant in the campaign. This year, the trainees were at the observatory and tore down the old and now obsolete control room of our first observation station for us. The team came with the right tools so that the building disappeared in no time at all. The people behind the observatory were delighted with this kind of support, are pleased that this unpopular work was taken on and hope that the GC-heat gang will continue to show interest in our work.
