STScI won a substantial grant for the digitization of the school observatory in a competition organized by the German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteerism (DSEE), which is funded by the German government. Now all about 100 winners were invited to a meeting in Berlin. The goal was to exchange ideas on the individual implementation of digitization in their respective fields of work. Our association was represented by our new members Lucia Gröger and Sophia Wick. In several group sessions, own goals were discussed, experiences were exchanged and future work was presented. The relatively small chance of such a grant shows that the goals at our observatory are convincing.
